The purpose of this site is twofold. I absolutely want to glorify God in all that I do. That being said, I want to say what's on my mind! My challenge is to communicate what I have to say in the spirit of love. The gifts of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. I'm just going for the love right now because God's Word says in
1 Corinthians chapter 13 that's the most important. A word of warning though, I have no intention of being politically correct. Who would want to be aligned with anything political anyway? What I am going to be is Biblically correct, but only through the grace of God. I can't glorify Him if I don't play by His rules and He always wins!
Do we really need another web site about God? Well...YES! If every website was about God, it would still be too few.
How do we know what's right? Challenge EVERYTHING! Compare it with God's Word. I've read various writings from Bible scholars that come from completely different points of view. Remember, opinions are like noses. Everyone has one and everyone thinks everyone else's smells. Pray about it, talk about it and God will give you the wisdom in His time.
It must be noted that we are not sinners because we sin...We sin because we are sinners! It's our sinful natures that get us in trouble. We are born with this broken part called sinful nature. I am guilty of breaking every commandment God has given us, many times over. I have been in the mud, the blood and the beer. I have been on the floor of the bathroom holding the toilet trying to make a deal with God. Please God, if you make it stop, I'll never drink again! I've been the bad boy you would never want your daughter to meet. If sin was a big scab on the earth and one picked it off, there would be a note under the scab saying, "Bob was here!" If sin was deep cesspool and it was being sucked out, one would find a note on the bottom saying, "Bob was here!" Now, I'm not saying this to brag, but to show that I am as sinful as the next person.
